A Tale of Two Davids – On the Labour Party leadership election
Last week I talked about Climategate 2.0, the less-than-successful sequel to the critically panned Climategate scandal of 2009CE.
At the end of November we had a general election here in Aotearoa me Te Wai Pounamu (New Zealand) and a certain incident, now commonly referred to as the “Tea Pot Tapes Scandal” (at least by me) generated claims of conspiracy and some interesting conspiracy theories.
As the election drew closer I ruminated a little on some of the conspiracy theories routinely associated or espoused by various political parties here.
Back in early November I went out to Manukau to listen to David Icke talk for eleven hours. I had a sprained ankle and a notebook, and this is what I thought about the whole affair.
